Thanks B for that question … listening to the land? That must surely be one of the best examples of our deafening toward something we once were connected to. A great example of fundamental muteness and loss of listening. We can reconnect when we experience the natural landscape or more rarely a special part of the city. I also think it links to what I’ve described somewhere : the power of the built environment and internal “design” (for want of a better word)to impact our mental health. The atmosphere of a building and the aesthetics of a dwelling have incredible influences on our mood. Thanks B for raising this.
